Han & Fran shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent last year

BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalists Han and Fran will headline an ABBA-themed Mother’s Day celebration at Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park this weekend.

Office workers turned best pals Hannah Roberts and Fran Cottington shot to fame on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent last year, where they reached 9th place.

Since then, they have performed all over the UK, bringing their ABBA medleys and covers to a variety of audiences.

This Sunday, they will headline a special one-day event showcasing the songs of ABBA, at Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park in Waltham Abbey.

Does Your Mother Know will feature live shows, karaoke, meet-and-greets and farmyard fun for all ages.

‘We love performing for families’

Hannah said: “We’re really looking forward to popping down south to entertain all the mummies for Mother’s Day and we’re honoured to be asked.

“We love performing for families and fans of ABBA because they always make the best audiences of all ages and we have just as much fun as they do.”

Han and Fran went viral for their ABBA medley, when they auditioned for the 18th series of Britain’s Got Talent.

Hailing from Llandudno in North Wales, the duo captured the public’s attention with their lively performances. Their audition saw them get four “yesses” from the judges, and drew a standing ovation from the audience.

‘BGT changed our lives completely’

“Since being on BGT life has been a bit of a whirlwind for us,” Hannah added.

“Our lives have changed completely – we were even able to quit our jobs to pursue performing full time! It’s been an amazing experience so far.”

The pair are now on the road, performing alongside artists such as Benidorm’s Chrissy Rock, and appearing in panto.

But they say working together full-time has made their friendship even stronger.

Fran said: “Since leaving the office job, our relationship hasn’t really changed much. We were performing together before BGT and were always close but if anything, we’ve really grown as a duo and are now more like sisters.

“It’s really brought us closer and we understand each other better.”
